Associate Software Engineer, Frontend (Vue)

Location: Hybrid role based in the New York City office, New York

Salary: $109,000–$136,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop frontend web applications for internal and public use.
• Gather requirements and partner with the team lead to create effective, on-brand user experiences.
• Implement designs with a high level of visual fidelity.
• Research design patterns and propose technical solutions for web UI/UX problems.
• Code, test, and deploy modern web applications.

Requirements

• Experience building web applications and ramping up quickly on an existing product.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one frontend framework such as Vue or React.
• Working knowledge of at least one server-side language, such as Ruby, Python, or Golang.
• Ability to build reliable, modular systems and consider performance and security in customer-facing applications.
• Strong design judgment, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with TypeScript and customer-facing applications.
