Senior Software Engineer, Frontend Engineering

Location: United States hybrid model; New York City team members work onsite three days per week, while teams in San Francisco/Bay Area, Seattle, Boston, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. attend quarterly Work Together Days.

Salary: $195,000–$250,000 per year for candidates in NYC, California, or Colorado, plus potential bonus, stock options, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop responsive, accessible, and optimized web or mobile applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and related frontend technologies.
• Use Node.js for frontend architecture, tooling, and server-side rendering.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services.
• Work with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into technical specifications.
• Ensure frontend security, scalability, performance, and quality through testing and debugging.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and a modern framework such as React or Vue.
• Experience with responsive design, mobile-first development, web performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Experience with Jest and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Proficiency with Git and experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring junior developers, driving technical initiatives, and collaborating independently across functions.
