Software Engineer, Frontend (AI)

Salary: $155,000–$185,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the web application.
• Architect and refine the application into a responsive single-page application focused on performance and user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, optimized, and reusable frontend code.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs to improve application quality and stability.
• Test application security, performance, and compatibility across browsers, platforms, and devices.
• Set coding standards, lead code reviews, and evaluate new development tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing and architecting single-page web applications with a JavaScript framework.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests and debugging reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Familiarity with Linux and REST API principles.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Mountain View, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS environments.
• Experience with WebSockets.
