Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue.js)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; hybrid and on-site arrangements may also be supported. Headquarters: Gainesville, Florida.

Infotech develops civil construction software used by transportation agencies to manage road construction, bidding, document signing, cost estimation, and inspections.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product, backend, design, and engineering teams to shape frontend functionality.
• Design and build clean, scalable, fast, accessible features, reusable components, and shared design-system elements.
• Write testable code with attention to usability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Support and evolve existing applications while delivering new product features.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, technical direction, development standards, and cross-team knowledge sharing.
• Expand the use of AI-assisted development tools and modern frontend and browser capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with frontend software development languages and frameworks.
• Advanced JavaScript proficiency and hands-on experience with semantic HTML, modern CSS, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL API integration, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with relevant experience, a master’s degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Experience working with collaborative design implementation, maintainable frontend architecture, and reliable software delivery.

Nice to have

• Vue.js, TypeScript, React, or Angular experience.
• Web Components, design systems, Storybook, Chromatic, Figma, or UI/UX fundamentals.
• axe-core, Lighthouse, NVDA, VoiceOver, Apollo Client, Swagger/OpenAPI, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Docker, or AWS familiarity.
• Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, automated test generation, or other AI-first development approaches.
