Buyer / Procurement Specialist – Electromechanical Components

Location: On-site in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico, at the Monterrey 3.0 site. Global relocation/LTA support is not available.

What you will do

• Execute purchasing and tactical sourcing activities while optimizing cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance.
• Support the development and implementation of local sourcing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Manage RFQs, supplier quotations, and procurement processes in accordance with established standards.
• Manage and develop national and international suppliers, including supplier evaluation.
• Contribute to cost-reduction, savings, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in procurement training and development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3–5 years of procurement or sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing national and international suppliers, RFQs, and supplier quotations.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, analytical, supplier development, and evaluation skills.
• Experience participating in cost-reduction and savings projects.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with electromechanical components or equipment.
• Experience using SAP, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.
