Indirect Buyer (Manufacturing Procurement): Managing end-to-end procurement of indirect materials, MRO supplies, consumables, spare parts, tools, PPE, and services for a manufacturing facility with an accent on supplier value, timely delivery, and operational continuity. Focus on negotiating commercial terms, managing SAP purchase orders and inventory transactions, resolving supply issues, and improving purchasing efficiency and cost performance.
Location: On-site in Juarez, Nuevo León, Mexico, supporting the Monterrey 3.0 site

What you will do
- Manage end-to-end procurement for indirect materials, MRO supplies, consumables, spare parts, tools, PPE, and services.
- Convert approved requisitions into accurate purchase orders and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
- Monitor orders, follow up with suppliers, and maintain material availability and on-time delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supplier agreements while analyzing quotations for best value.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve shortages, discrepancies, delivery issues, and service concerns.
- Track supplier performance and support improvements in purchasing efficiency, service levels, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, materials management, or supply chain within manufacturing.
- Experience purchasing indirect materials, MRO supplies, consumables, and services.
- Hands-on ERP experience, preferably SAP, including purchase orders, inventory transactions, material planning, and procurement reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, analytical ability, negotiation experience, supplier management, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English communication skills and availability for on-site work in Mexico are required.
Nice to have
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or a similar supply chain certification.
