DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Remote for individuals living in Latin America

hirify.global develops an intuitive ETL/ELT platform that enables data engineers and analysts to integrate data from any source without writing code and manage large numbers of data pipelines.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis across backend systems and SaaS products.
• Evolve AWS production and test infrastructure to improve functionality, availability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Manage and improve CircleCI-based CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and build stability.
• Develop Terraform modules to simplify infrastructure management and improve uptime and resiliency.
• Own process-automation tools and identify manual processes suitable for automation.
• Manage logging, metrics, monitoring, and infrastructure and software security upgrades.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with AWS-based infrastructure.
• Understanding of AWS security and compliance requirements.
• 3+ years of Terraform experience.
• Knowledge of network administration.
• Experience with Linux administration and Docker.
• Comfortable with Bash and Python scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java or JVM-based solutions.
• Experience with site-to-site VPN connections using IPSec or WireGuard.
