DevOps Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote from Mauritius only; candidates must currently reside in Mauritius.

What you will do

• Develop, scale, and maintain infrastructure using automation and configuration management.
• Design and implement robust, scalable services with development and security teams.
• Monitor service health, respond to incidents, and maintain high availability and performance.
• Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventative measures.
• Optimize system performance through capacity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud and infrastructure security, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting skills with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Helm charts, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance frameworks and a focus on reliability and availability.
