GTS Sr Broker

Location: In-person position in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, at 1950 Sargent Ave.

Starting rate: CAD 26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide customs brokerage services in accordance with Canada Customs and other government department regulations.
• Process high-value and low-value entries for international trade.
• Consult with customers on customs brokerage requirements.
• Apply customs, agriculture, food and drug, tariff, valuation, and related government department laws and policies.
• Manage agency clearance requirements and release processes.
• Work varying shifts and complete required testing and recurrence training.

Requirements

• Community college diploma or equivalent post-secondary education.
• Canadian Customs Specialist (CCS) or CSCB professional designation required.
• At least 2 years of current customs brokerage experience, or 2 years of current rating and international experience.
• CCS designation must be maintained, including annual recurrency points.
• Knowledge of international customs documentation, regulations, clearance requirements, and release processes.
• Basic Excel skills, strong mathematical skills, and ability to complete at least 25 words per minute of alphanumeric data entry preferred.
