GTS Sr Broker (Customs Brokerage)

Location: In-station position in Winnipeg, Canada; the posting header also lists Richmond, BC. Remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Provide customs brokerage services in compliance with Canadian Customs and other government department regulations.
• Process high-value and low-value shipment entries.
• Consult customers on international trade and customs requirements.
• Apply customs, agriculture, food and drug, tariff, valuation, and other government department regulations.
• Manage agency clearance requirements and shipment release processes.

Requirements

• Community college diploma or equivalent.
• Canadian Customs Specialist (CCS) or CSCB professional designation required.
• At least two years of current customs brokerage experience, or two years of current rating and international experience.
• CCS designation must be maintained, including annual recurrency points.
• Knowledge of hirify.global operations, international customs documentation, regulations, and release processes.
• Basic Excel skills, strong mathematical ability, and the ability to complete alpha-numeric data entry testing; 25 words per minute is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with alpha-numeric data entry at a rate of at least 25 words per minute.
