Product Safety Engineer Intern

Location: US-MD-Hagerstown-Fountainhead; office-based role

Salary: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Research standards and regulations for existing and new products.
• Evaluate products and features for applicable manual content and warning decals.
• Support advanced technology teams in evaluating autonomy solutions, regulations, standards, and equipment applications.
• Research customer inquiries about safe use and equipment modifications.
• Prepare Field Service Bulletins and Service Information.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, Sales, Service, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, Operations, Training, and Technical Publications.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn problem-solving and continuous improvement methods.
• Ability to work in the office in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of construction or agricultural industries and related equipment.
• Education or experience in electromechanical engineering or mechatronics.
• Internship or work experience in product safety, compliance, reliability, or improvement engineering.
