2027 Summer Mechanical Engineer Intern (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Perform entry-level mechanical engineering assignments under structured guidance.
• Apply mechanical engineering theories, principles, and concepts to routine engineering problems.
• Design and create parts for prototype testing.
• Optimize existing components to reduce cost and improve performance.
• Learn and use the engineering change control system.
• Present findings and results in a collaborative group environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work onsite in Gloucester, MA, with travel required for approximately 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Creo and Ansys.
