What you will do

• Develop and update CAD drawings for fixtures and plant layouts.
• Conduct detailed time studies for manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement events and support ongoing manufacturing engineering projects.
• Assist with routine analysis, design, assembly, manufacturing cost estimates, and tooling and process recommendations.
• Perform basic CNC programming depending on skill set.
• Maintain records and reporting systems supporting manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program in engineering, mechanical, industrial/manufacturing, electrical, engineering technology, or chemical engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and computer skills, including proficiency with standard business software.
• Ability to work with customers, suppliers, employees, and managers at all organizational levels.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment and follow safety, workmanship, and housekeeping requirements.
• Ability to lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

• CAD or 3D modeling experience.
• Time study experience.
• Ability to multitask and handle quick turnaround work.
