Production Engineer

What you will do

• Create and maintain bills of materials and part codes for parent and child parts.
• Develop production routers, estimate runtimes, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Create CAD-based machine programs and production drawings using software such as SolidWorks.
• Monitor production progress and resolve drawing interpretation issues with production teams.
• Prepare and update detailed project cost estimates covering labor, materials, and overhead.
• Validate equipment capabilities, material availability, and required manufacturing skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Ability to communicate across departments and work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.

Nice to have

• Experience in a steel or metal fabrication manufacturing environment.
• Experience preparing customer-facing submittals or technical documentation.
