  • Train, mentor, and onboard technicians while serving as the floor-level subject matter expert.
  • Verify disassembly, rigging, safety, and material-disposition quality; escalate non-routine issues to Supervision and Engineering.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, electrical diagnostic equipment, forklifts, hoists, cranes, and other lifting equipment.
  • Support production targets, root-cause investigations, continuous improvement, and field decommissioning operations.

  • Ability to train and coach technicians on technical procedures, standardized work, safety, tools, and material handling.
  • Ability to participate in required high-voltage training and certifications.
  • Ability to lift 30–50 pounds, stand and perform physical work for most of a 12-hour shift, and work indoors and outdoors in variable temperatures.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for field decommissioning and on-site material recovery.
  • Must meet full-face respirator requirements, including medical clearance and fit testing, under OSHA and company standards.

Nice to have

  • Prior rigging and heavy material handling experience.
  • Experience with complex lifts, rigging plans, mechanical fastening systems, and component-level electrical troubleshooting.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time individual contributor position with technical leadership responsibilities but no hiring, firing, or formal performance-review authority.
  • Work in a high-throughput manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous flow.
  • Training and certification provided for material handling equipment and foundational rigging skills.
  • Collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, and Maintenance teams.
