Director Continuous Improvement (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States. Periodic travel may be required based on business needs.

A genomics and laboratory services organization developing and managing diagnostic testing products and supporting platforms in a regulated healthcare environment.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise product and process optimization initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, customer experience, workflow simplification, and business performance.
• Develop lifecycle management frameworks for the diagnostic test portfolio and supporting platforms.
• Establish operational standards, governance frameworks, and roadmap planning processes across Product and Program Management.
• Define portfolio optimization and operations KPIs, executive dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics teams to automate operational reporting and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams through process standardization, change management, and prioritized improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Portfolio Management, Program Management, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional enterprise-level programs or optimization functions.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex initiatives, leading kaizens, managing change, and building or improving processes.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder facilitation, governance, and adoption leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in diagnostics, genomics, laboratory services, healthcare technology, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, FDA, and regulated healthcare requirements.
• Master’s degree.
