Talent Acquisition Leader

Location: San Francisco or New York, United States; hybrid with at least three days per week in the office

Salary: $220,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity and comprehensive benefits

What you will do

• Lead, grow, and expand a team of recruiters.
• Turn hiring standards into structured rubrics, interviewer training, and consistent calibration.
• Build a data-driven recruiting engine, including the recruiting technology stack, automation, sourcing infrastructure, and analytics.
• Partner with business leads to define roles, shape teams, and improve hiring profiles.
• Run searches directly alongside the recruiting team during the first six months.

Requirements

• Experience developing a clear talent philosophy and evaluating the limits of recruiting proxies such as pedigree.
• Experience partnering with business leads to design roles around business needs.
• Experience building and improving recruiting systems, automations, scoring frameworks, or sourcing infrastructure.
• Experience taking over and raising the bar of an existing recruiting team.
• Willingness to remain hands-on and run searches directly rather than operating only at a strategic level.
• Ability to work from San Francisco or New York and attend the office at least three days per week.
