Executive Recruiter

Location: Tacoma, Washington, or Remote US

Base salary: $122,000–$170,000 per year, plus corporate bonus potential

What you will do

• Lead confidential, full-cycle executive searches from intake through offer and onboarding handoff.
• Partner with executive leaders, hiring managers, HR business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to define search strategy, leadership competencies, and evaluation criteria.
• Build diverse executive pipelines for Senior Director, VP, and SVP-level roles across Engineering, Product, go-to-market, corporate, and other functions.
• Develop sourcing and research strategies using direct outreach, executive networks, referrals, internal talent, and selected search partners.
• Assess leadership talent through structured, competency-based interviews and prepare candidate profiles, interview briefs, gap analyses, and decision-support materials.
• Use approved AI-enabled tools, recruiting analytics, and talent-intelligence platforms to improve research, market mapping, documentation, and stakeholder decisions while protecting confidentiality.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive executive search or corporate Talent Acquisition experience, including Senior Director, VP, and SVP-level searches.
• Experience managing confidential, complex searches in a high-growth, multinational technology, cybersecurity, or SaaS environment.
• Recruiting experience across Engineering, Product, go-to-market, and general and administrative functions.
• Strong executive presence, stakeholder-influencing ability, discretion, judgment, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Expertise in executive sourcing, research, market mapping, passive-talent engagement, relationship development, and structured evaluation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
