Streaming Traffic Specialist

Location: The Woodlands, Texas, United States. The role requires availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $63,100–$84,500 per year in Houston.

What you will do

• Program and maintain schedules and operational playlists for live and recorded streaming content.
• Translate station programming schedules into streaming workflows across multiple distribution platforms.
• Coordinate with Station Programming, Digital, Streaming Operations, Technical Operations, and external vendors.
• Implement contingency plans for live events, breaking news, and special programming.
• Ingest, process, and distribute content while troubleshooting technical and on-air streaming issues.
• Improve workflows, documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in television broadcast operations, streaming operations, traffic, or a related media environment.
• Knowledge of broadcast and digital media workflows for live and recorded content.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other business applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communications, Media Production, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Availability for non-traditional schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
