What you will do

• Schedule commercial units on broadcast logs according to established traffic guidelines and procedures.
• Use advertising traffic systems, including the Broadway system, and log commercial materials received from advertising agencies.
• Coordinate with Programming and Master Control on schedule changes, last-minute commercial updates, and traffic-related issues.
• Reconcile logs, manage commercial inventory, and ensure the accuracy of daily broadcast logs.
• Create not-final logs and provide swap lists, dub lists, and standby programming and inventory to Master Control.
• Schedule make-good spots and maintain organized advertiser information to prevent billing discrepancies.

Requirements

• At least two years of traffic experience, preferably with a national network.
• Proficiency with advertising traffic systems; Broadway experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Communications or a related major preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, follow-up, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, recommend process improvements, and operate effectively in the pressurized environment of live television.
• Ability to work onsite in Secaucus and maintain a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Experience in television, advertising, affiliate sales, or production.
