What you will do

• Own software problems from the initial idea through production.
• Build and ship features for web and mobile applications.
• Develop backend services for rewards, offers, and payments used by millions of users.
• Create CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and internal AI tooling.
• Build AI-powered product features and internal agents with LLMs or ML models.
• Investigate bugs, performance issues, failure modes, and edge cases to identify root causes.

Requirements

• Junior-level software engineering experience demonstrated through shipped projects, open-source contributions, internships, or strong coursework.
• For TypeScript tracks: strong TypeScript skills with a focus on Node or React.
• For Python backend: strong Python and SQL skills.
• For DevOps: strong TypeScript, Python, or Rust skills.
• For AI: hands-on experience building with LLMs or ML models.
• Ability to work on vague problems, evaluate AI-generated output, and debug to the underlying cause.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes or GitHub Actions experience.
• A live product with real users, a self-built and hardened system, or hackathon and competitive programming results.
