Head of MyG Core Workflows (SaaS)

Location: Oakville, Toronto, or Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; remote in Canada. The role follows a flexible hybrid model, with specific office attendance expectations shared during hiring.

Annual base salary: $138,600–$184,900 CAD.

What you will do

• Own the vision, roadmap, technical standards, reliability, scalability, and performance of Myhirify.global core workflows covering driver messaging, notifications, rules, exceptions, system settings, group hierarchy, and investigations.
• Lead product engineering standards, shared components, architectural patterns, SLOs, customer metrics, regression protection, VIP-customer coverage, and resolution of technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.
• Define capability contracts and integration standards for rules, notifications, and groups, enabling solution and segment domains to build on shared platform capabilities.
• Modernize legacy Myhirify.global workflow pages to the Zenith/React stack using AI-assisted conversion where practical while preserving existing customer behavior.
• Own product discovery, prioritization, roadmap planning, investment decisions, KPIs, budgets, headcount, and communication of domain health and risks to board leadership.
• Lead a cross-functional organization, develop employees, manage capacity and performance, coordinate internal and external dependencies, and foster collaboration across product domains.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; an equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be substituted.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including 5+ years in SaaS or web product engineering or product management, ideally with configuration-heavy, multi-tenant products.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles and 3+ years of leadership experience.
• 1+ years leading a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Deep technical and product expertise in configuration-heavy, multi-tenant B2B SaaS workflows, including event, alerting, and multi-channel notification systems covering delivery, templating, and rate limiting.
• Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed or shared-services organization; communicate technical concepts as customer and business impact; and manage stakeholders across evolving structures, ambiguity, and shifting priorities.
• Strong product sense, UX judgment, systems thinking, and ability to shape and communicate reusable workflow capabilities, constraints, intended usage patterns, and trade-offs across consuming domains.
• Experience defining and tracking SLOs, customer-facing product metrics, reliability indicators, notification delivery success and latency, incident metrics, adoption, and investigation accuracy.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud-native architecture, observability, and agile delivery; ability to redesign workflows around AI and lead organizational change.
