Employee Benefits Account Manager (Public Entity)

Location: Hybrid, Iselin, New Jersey, United States. On-site presence is expected to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

Base compensation: $90,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage client relationships and coordinate account service teams for public-entity accounts.
• Support JHIF members and employees with day-to-day employee benefits needs.
• Assist with COBRA and Direct Bill programs.
• Review Medicare eligibility and oversee transitions into the Medicare population.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and open enrollment sessions.
• Coordinate renewals and RFP processes while helping resolve claims issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in large-market employee benefits.
• NJ Life and Health License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Familiarity with carrier computer systems and the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
