Video Game Translator - Swedish

Location: Remote; conditions listed as Sweden, with the opportunity to work remotely from any place. Partial availability during 9-5 CET is required.

What you will do

• Translate full video game titles and game updates from English into Swedish.
• Translate game-related marketing texts and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with other translators when working on larger localization projects.
• Proofread other translators' work to ensure high-quality Swedish localization.

Requirements

• Native Swedish speaker with strong interest in linguistic and cultural nuances.
• Fluent English for email communication and video interviews.
• At least six months of translation experience in video games, board games, or similar creative fields.
• Ability to issue invoices; freelance registration is recommended.

Nice to have

• Experience with subtitling and localization quality assurance.
