Senior Software Engineer - Computer Vision

Location: San Mateo, California, United States; onsite five days per week

Annual pay range: $200,000–$300,000 USD, including base compensation and commissions where applicable.

What you will do

• Write clean, modular C++ code for computer vision systems.
• Develop traditional computer vision algorithms for intelligent video analysis.
• Train and deploy deep learning networks using PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or similar frameworks.
• Build models for people and vehicle detection, object frequency analysis, unusual object changes, and other video analytics.
• Train and implement license plate recognition and facial recognition models, including real-time and edge deployments.
• Work with data structures and software architecture in an agile development environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, preferably with research experience.
• 4+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• 1+ years of work or research experience with current neural network frameworks.
• Mastery of at least one practical programming language, with strong C++ development skills.
• Experience working in an agile software development team.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, California.
