What you will do

• Evaluate and develop classical computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms for defect detection, classification, metrology, and image analysis.
• Investigate customer use cases, survey research literature, prototype approaches, and assess algorithm feasibility.
• Validate and benchmark algorithms on large datasets using data-driven methods.
• Collaborate with compute infrastructure, software, systems, applications, and product teams to integrate algorithms into semiconductor inspection tools.
• Write and maintain optimized, production-quality code and optimize algorithm performance through efficient use of compute resources.

Requirements

• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong background in computer vision, image processing, and deep learning.
• Expertise in C/C++ and Python, with experience using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or a similar framework.
• Knowledge of GPU programming with CUDA or OpenCL.
• Academic background in computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer science, or electrical engineering.
• New PhD graduates or candidates with a master's degree and 4+ years of experience are considered.
