Computer Vision Engineer (AI)

Location: Coralville, Iowa, United States. The role includes travel up to 25% for customer visits, internal meetings, and learning, primarily in Coralville and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to other states.

What you will do

• Advance the IntelliSee platform by expanding threat and risk detection types and methods.
• Define the product roadmap and vision with the executive team.
• Design and manage product, infrastructure, architecture, and codebase development.
• Train, evaluate, optimize, test, and deploy object detection models.
• Participate in planning, programming, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Analyze customer issues, propose solutions, and improve platform quality, accuracy, and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, electrical and computer engineering, or a related field, plus two years of relevant experience; or a relevant master’s degree.
• Experience with advanced computer vision, deep learning, artificial intelligence, image processing, machine learning algorithms, and classical computer vision algorithms.
• Knowledge of mathematical techniques, statistical methods, optimization, signal processing, and designing and training deep learning architectures.
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
• Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, or C++.
• Ability to apply machine learning algorithms to real-world problems and maintain high-quality, stable code.
