Project Manager (Data Centers)

Location: Sussex, Wisconsin, USA. Full-time role with up to 40% travel, onsite emergency response, and occasional work outside normal hours.

What you will do

• Own project scope from quoting and manufacturing through shipping, installation, commissioning, warranty, and lifecycle support.
• Develop project plans covering timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and execution milestones.
• Coordinate Sales, Engineering, Operations, Service, and external partners.
• Serve as the primary stakeholder contact and provide status updates, risk assessments, and escalations.
• Resolve onsite quality issues and drive process improvements for project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of project management experience with data-driven decision-making.
• Expertise in change order management, budgeting, risk management, and professional communication.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, SAP, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of electrical power generation systems, including paralleling, load banks, switchgear, UPS, and ATS.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, and flowcharts, with familiarity with MEP systems in data centers and critical infrastructure.
