Industrial Hygiene Operations Manager

What you will do

• Develop and execute operational strategy for EHS and Industrial Hygiene project portfolios.
• Manage practice operations, resource planning, staff utilization, schedules, budgets, and project workflows.
• Oversee project delivery and client relationships, resolving service and performance issues.
• Provide senior technical leadership for Industrial Hygiene, exposure assessment, and environmental health projects.
• Review reports, sampling plans, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance deliverables.
• Mentor technical staff and project managers while promoting collaboration, safety, and technical innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, A/E/C, or a relevant industry.
• 10+ years of operational leadership, project management, and staff management experience in EHS or Industrial Hygiene services.
• Experience managing project P&Ls, operational logistics, utilization metrics, and multidisciplinary field teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard operations management software.

Nice to have

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential.
• Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or Occupational Health & Safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, indoor air quality standards, hazardous materials management, and industrial exposure limits.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
