Senior Bsp Engineer (Cameras)

Location: San Mateo, CA, United States; onsite five days per week

Annual pay range: $130,000–$300,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop camera features in C/C++ and Python in collaboration with the hardware team.
• Lead code reviews, debugging, and bug fixes.
• Experiment with and test new development boards.
• Contribute regularly to the existing codebase and deliver new features over the air.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of full-time embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one system programming language, such as C, C++, Golang, or Rust.
• At least 2 years of full-time system software development for a Linux-based platform.
• Knowledge of modern operating systems and computer architecture, plus familiarity with Bash scripting and Python.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, California.

Nice to have

• Experience developing on-device software for cloud-connected devices.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel development.
• Familiarity with bootloader development.
