Senior Staff Software Engineer, Business Systems

TL;DR

Senior Staff Software Engineer (Business Systems): Design and implement technical solutions that will span between AWS, Salesforce, and NetSuite, improving systems observability and investing in the reliability & correctness of data. Focus on leading projects from ideation to release and helping and mentoring junior engineers.

Location: This role requires you to be onsite at our HQ in San Mateo, CA.

Salary: $180,000 - $300,000 USD

What You'll Do

• Design and implement technical solutions that will span between AWS, Salesforce and NetSuite.
• Improve systems observability and invest in reliability & correctness of data.
• Develop customer empathy to propose improvements to systems.
• Lead projects from ideation to release.
• Help and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering with a focus on distributed systems at scale.
• Shipped customer facing products or internal tools in the past.
• Flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for observability and reliability.
• In-depth expertise in distributed systems and data processing.
• AWS Cloud experience touching foundational blocks like: Kubernetes, Fargate, Lambda, Airflow, Athena, DynamoDB, VPC, and EC2.

• Experience with data infrastructure and data analytics.
