Technical Writer IV (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $70,000–$84,000 per year, plus annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain online help, user guides, release highlights, videos, and other end-user documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, UX designers, and functional teams on user-facing content and interface text.
• Lead and support software release documentation, publication activities, installation guides, configuration guides, and help-system updates.
• Participate in peer reviews, resolve documentation issues, and maintain writing, formatting, and style standards.
• Research technical communication trends, content delivery methods, and emerging AI technologies, then recommend process and tool improvements.
• Mentor junior writers and deliver documentation according to project milestones and release schedules.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to quickly understand software products, users, documentation tools, and internal processes.
• Experience collaborating with technical, functional, product management, and UX teams.
• Ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly, with attention to accuracy, data privacy, and human oversight.
• Applicants must be based in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
