Technical Writer (AI)

Location: Offices in San Francisco or Singapore; remote candidates are accepted across Asia, North America, and the rest of the world with 70–80% working-hours overlap with either San Francisco or Singapore. Relocation and visa support are available for strong full-time candidates moving to the US or Singapore.

Salary: $100,000–$165,000 in San Francisco and other major US cities; $100,000–$120,000 in Singapore and the rest of the world.

What you will do

• Write customer and partner case studies, technical articles, product explainers, launch materials, and social posts.
• Interview customers, partners, founders, researchers, and internal experts to uncover technical workflows, results, and product impact.
• Learn hirify.global’s platform and marketplace well enough to explain product, research, and customer use cases accurately.
• Help communicate product vision, technical insights, and platform wins in hirify.global’s voice.
• Propose topics and formats, manage drafts and feedback through publication, and improve content using reader and GTM-team input.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating technical depth, clear explanations, and strong storytelling.
• Application must include a portfolio link with at least one piece of technical writing.
• Technical fluency to communicate with AI engineers, researchers, technical customers, and partners.
• Strong research, interviewing, editorial judgment, and technical feedback skills.
• Ability to turn ambiguous briefs into polished drafts and manage multiple content pieces.
• English proficiency sufficient for technical writing and communication.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with reinforcement learning, environments, evaluations, benchmarks, or post-training data.
• Published AI/ML, developer-tool, infrastructure, case-study, or technical content.
• Experience writing social content or ghostwriting for technical founders.
• Hands-on experience with technical products, code, demos, or AI tools for research and writing.
