What you will do

• Develop and edit API documentation, developer guides, reference documentation, and release notes for different audiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and documentation writers to understand product functionality and maintain documentation accuracy.
• Research technical information, work with subject-matter experts, analyze product specifications, and test software and documentation.
• Use CLI tools and API testing to validate and document software features.
• Maintain documentation through updates, revisions, version control, and deprecation of outdated content.
• Own documentation strategy for a product area, prioritizing content investments based on user behavior, support data, adoption, and product impact.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical writing experience in a software development environment.
• Experience creating software documentation, including API documentation and developer guides.
• Understanding of API testing and proficiency with Command Line Interface tools.
• Solid experience with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Ability to research and synthesize complex technical information, communicate clearly, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Strong documentation maintenance, problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
