Program Manager – Enterprise Payments (Fintech)

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year

What you will do

• Manage enterprise payments program execution across initiatives, platforms, and business units.
• Coordinate product, engineering, treasury, tax, legal, ERP, and business unit program and project stakeholders.
• Align delivery teams with enterprise payment standards, governance decisions, priorities, sequencing, and milestones.
• Track program risks, dependencies, resource conflicts, cross-functional impacts, and the enterprise payments intake pipeline.
• Provide executive-level reporting and maintain a single source of truth for initiative status, priorities, and dependencies.
• Standardize and streamline delivery patterns across initiatives while balancing enterprise consistency with business unit flexibility.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in program or project management.
• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs and competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
• Experience working with business and technical stakeholders in enterprise delivery models.
• Strong planning, strategic thinking, decision-making, critical thinking, data analysis, reporting, and communication skills.
• Experience managing schedules, resources, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, governance, and executive status reporting.
• Must work in Chicago, Illinois, United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, ecommerce, or financial systems.
• Experience working across multiple business units or regions in a federated or matrixed model.
• Knowledge of payment lifecycle flows, including authorization, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Experience managing platform or infrastructure programs and familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Ability to create new ways of working, clarify responsibilities, identify gaps, and develop practical solutions.
