Research Analyst, Capital Advisory (Finance)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid schedule with in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote or office work optional on Fridays.

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually, plus eligibility for bonus pay.

What you will do

• Build and maintain databases of potential target businesses and clients.
• Maintain external watch lists and related credit profiles.
• Prepare idea books, marketing materials, meeting deliverables, and follow-ups.
• Interact with prospective clients and support business development efforts.
• Track capital markets and analyze market changes.
• Support senior members of the Capital Advisory Group, particularly the creditor business marketing initiative.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
• 1–2 years of experience in corporate finance, equity research, accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Understanding of financial statements and proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong writing skills and experience with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and research skills.
• Must not currently or in the future require employment visa sponsorship.
