Sales Manager (Broadcast/Digital Media)

Location: Johnson City, Tennessee, United States

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year, plus commission and bonus

Local CBS/ABC broadcast and digital media operations serving the Tri-Cities communities of Tennessee and Virginia, with more than 70 years of community presence.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the broadcast and digital sales departments.
• Develop and execute strategies to exceed local, new-business, and digital revenue targets.
• Drive new business development and cultivate client relationships with Account Executives.
• Manage sales inventory, revenue forecasting, and Accounts Receivable.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, coach, and develop sales professionals.
• Make decisions regarding employee hiring, promotion, evaluation, and termination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Three to five years of digital or media sales experience.
• Experience guiding, motivating, and evaluating personnel and monitoring performance standards.
• Experience setting long-range objectives and defining strategies to achieve them.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and support the development of others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
