Material Assistant (Supply Chain): Maintaining and optimizing finished-goods and component inventory to support on-time deliveries with an accent on forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain coordination. Focus on analyzing stock levels, developing action plans for excess inventory and stock-outs, and preparing operational inventory reports.

hirify.global is hiring for a part-time materials and inventory support role.

What you will do

Maintain optimum inventory levels to support on-time customer deliveries.
Plan and coordinate company inventory, including finished goods and component inventory.
Prepare monthly Global Inventory Meeting materials and participate in inventory reviews.
Collaborate with product, sales, supply chain, branch operations, and branch managers on forecasting and delivery strategies.
Prepare and review Kanban calculations, Sales & Operations inventory reports, and On Time Delivery reports.
Analyze excess, obsolete, out-of-region, and stock-out inventory and develop action plans.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with ERP systems.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes; willingness to make infrequent overnight trips.
