Data Operations Senior Engineer (DataOps)

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and continuously improve production data workloads serving SLHK.
• Own daily and weekly schedules, calendars, dependencies, health checks, and alerts in enterprise schedulers such as Control-M.
• Triage incidents, restore service, document root-cause analysis and prevention actions, and maintain runbooks and knowledge bases.
• Execute deployments and configuration changes under change controls with complete evidence and rollback plans.
• Run data-quality checks and reconciliations, track remediation, and coordinate with data governance and data-quality leads.
• Publish job success, latency, and SLA compliance reports while automating repetitive operational work.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience.
• 3–6 years of experience in DataOps or ETL operations.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise schedulers, such as Control-M, and production support.
• Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with cloud data environments.
• Experience supporting data-quality checks, lineage, or metadata processes is beneficial.
