TL;DR
Senior Data Analytics Engineer (Manager Level | Individual Contributor) (Data Engineering/Cloud Analytics): Modernizing legacy reporting environments and building scalable cloud-based data platforms with an accent on SQL optimization, Power BI semantic models, Spark processing, and Python automation. Focus on migrating enterprise data workloads, designing governed pipelines and data products, and solving complex performance and validation challenges for analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.

What you will do
- Lead migration of legacy reporting and analytics environments to modern cloud-based platforms.
- Analyze and optimize BI models, SQL workloads, reporting logic, and platform performance.
- Build and maintain enterprise-grade data pipelines, data products, and scalable transformation frameworks.
- Partner with data scientists, analysts, business stakeholders, and senior leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement data governance, version control, documentation, deployment, validation, and testing practices.
- Support analytics, reporting, machine learning, and AI-driven initiatives with reliable data assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data platform development.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query development, optimization, and stored procedure logic.
- Experience with Power BI, semantic models, DAX, Spark, PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, and Git.
- Strong stakeholder management, requirements-gathering, and technical communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, DLT Pipelines, and Unity Catalog.
- Experience contributing to cloud migration and data modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of modern data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, and analytics platforms.
- Databricks, Azure, AWS, or related cloud certifications.
- Experience with enterprise-scale operations or exposure to analytics, machine learning, and data science environments.
