What you will do
- Prioritise and fulfil incoming business data requests through JIRA Service Desk.
- Investigate source-system databases to identify datasets and optimal columns for extraction and transformation.
- Manage peer review, quality checks, governance, and formal sign-off throughout the data delivery lifecycle.
- Analyse service desk request trends and build automated reports to reduce recurring ad-hoc requests.
- Develop data models, analytical insights, reporting frameworks, data pipelines, and high-performance SQL queries.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable data solutions.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation.
- Experience with AWS and Databricks cloud data platforms.
- Proficiency with Git, version control, and CI/CD processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Cebu or Manila.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Medallion architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT orchestration and data quality frameworks.
