Senior Legal Counsel (Contract)

What you will do

• Lead complex commercial matters, including significant contracts and high-stakes negotiations.
• Advise on intellectual property, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and new product launches.
• Partner with the Head of Legal to shape legal strategy, goals, and priorities.
• Provide clear, practical legal guidance to marketing, operations, and other business stakeholders.
• Monitor global legal developments and help the business prepare for regulatory changes.
• Improve legal processes and technology while mentoring junior legal team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' post-admission experience; 10+ years and in-house experience are desirable.
• Strong technical legal, commercial advisory, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives and identify business opportunities.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal matters to non-legal audiences.
• Proactive leadership, stakeholder influence, empathy, and constructive feedback skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning, process improvement, and mentoring.
