Senior Java Software Developer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimize reliable Java applications.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to align solutions with business requirements and delivery timelines.
• Resolve client issues within agreed Service Level Agreements and identify solutions for bottlenecks and bugs.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to critical feature design, and address technical debt.
• Build documentation for onboarding, knowledge transfer, and software development communication while following Agile Scrum practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of hands-on Java development experience, including the latest Java editions and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, microservices architecture, design patterns, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with API and data privacy security best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices, including configuration management, CI/CD, Gitflow, infrastructure as code, and deployment patterns.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
