Backend Developer - Spark/Scala (Relocation to Spain)

Location: 100% remote, with flexibility to work from wherever you are; relocation to Spain

What you will do

• Analyse and implement user stories and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain backend and data solutions using Apache Spark and Scala.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from coding and testing to production validation.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure solution quality and reliability.
• Support UAT, deployments, production validation, and technical troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Agile squad and participate in continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience with Apache Spark and Scala.
• Solid experience with PL/SQL and Control-M.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Good understanding of software development best practices, testing, and production support.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
