Logistics Cost Analyst (Aerospace)

Location: Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel, Hamburg Area, Germany; hybrid working. The role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

What you will do

• Deploy financial monitoring across European distribution centers to provide transparent logistics spend data.
• Lead annual operational planning, compare actuals with plans, analyze deviations, and manage financial risks and opportunities.
• Oversee purchase orders for business services, consumables, facilities, and equipment while maintaining budget compliance.
• Benchmark outsourced warehouse supplier contracts, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and resolve purchase order, goods receipt, and invoice discrepancies.
• Build business cases, unit-cost models, and make-or-buy analyses for the logistics transformation roadmap.
• Design financial KPIs and collaborate with teams, sites, and service providers across the international organization.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional experience in supply chain financial steering, logistics cost controlling, or contract logistics.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analytics tools.
• Ability to build collaborative business relationships and communicate effectively across international teams.
• Structured, proactive, solutions-oriented approach with strong organizational capabilities.
• Business fluency in German and English is required.
