Network Engineer

Location: Warminster, Wiltshire, United Kingdom; occasional travel required; in-person collaboration is prioritized. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and meet applicable UK Government and contractual security and residency requirements.

What you will do

• Maintain, support, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Diagnose connectivity issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Install, configure, and maintain switching, routing, firewall, LAN, WAN, and security infrastructure.
• Deliver network upgrades, refreshes, enhancements, testing, validation, and acceptance activities.
• Provide technical support to customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and support partners.
• Create network diagrams and maintain accurate technical documentation while following change-management procedures.

Requirements

• HPE and/or Cisco networking skills equivalent to CCNA level.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale, multi-vendor network environments.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge across LAN, WAN, Layer 2, Layer 3, and network security technologies.
• Experience in customer-facing technical environments and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Right to work in the UK and eligibility for applicable UK Government and contractual security requirements, including residency criteria.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, IPSec VPN, FortiManager, or FortiAnalyzer.
• Experience with HPE Intelligent Management Centre, IPAM, or structured cabling in manufacturing or operational sites.
• CCNA, HPE ASE, or equivalent networking certification.
