Senior Contract Manager (FIDIC)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working

Salary: €70,000–€100,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer FIDIC contracts across pre-award, post-award, claims, and final account stages.
• Develop contracting strategies, pricing models, and risk allocation frameworks aligned with project and client objectives.
• Prepare RFPs, ITTs, and contract documentation; manage bid evaluations and contract award negotiations.
• Assess variations, change control submissions, contractor claims, extensions of time, delay damages, and loss and expense claims.
• Maintain contract records, correspondence logs, RFI tracking, instructions, and claims files for a complete audit trail.
• Monitor contractual risk, KPIs, cost variances, programme compliance, and commercial performance in collaboration with legal, finance, engineering, and project management teams.

Requirements

• Degree in supply chain management, engineering, law, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing and administering FIDIC contracts, including the Red, Yellow, and/or Silver Books across the full project lifecycle.
• Professional qualification or progress toward CIPS, FIDIC-accredited training, an equivalent qualification, or a clear intention to attain professional accreditation.
• Senior-level experience in data centre construction, critical infrastructure, construction, or related contract management environments.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale or colocation data centre programmes using EPC, EPCM, or Design & Build strategies.
• Familiarity with NEC, JCT, or VOB frameworks and their interaction with FIDIC in multi-jurisdiction environments.
• Experience managing change control, claims assessment, and extension of time processes on large capital programmes.
