Legal Counsel (AI)

Location: On-site in Breda, Netherlands. Candidates must already hold a permanent work and residence permit for the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, supplier, technology, data-processing, and partnership agreements.
• Advise Sales, Procurement, Product, and other stakeholders on commercial, regulatory, privacy, and data-protection matters.
• Provide legal guidance on SaaS, CPaaS, payments, AI products, GDPR, telecommunications, and related regulation.
• Develop contract standards, playbooks, and scalable legal processes for the global commercial organization.
• Support tenders, strategic negotiations, cross-functional projects, and intellectual-property and trademark protection.
• Monitor developments in digital, payments, data, and AI regulation and translate them into practical business guidance.

Requirements

• Completed Master's degree in Law and at least three years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in English, preferably in technology, SaaS, or another regulated environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of privacy and data-protection law, including GDPR.
• Pragmatic, business-minded approach with strong judgment and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Permanent work and residence permit for the Netherlands already held.

Nice to have

• Experience with telecommunications, payments, consumer, or AI regulation.
• Curiosity about technology and practical experience using AI tools to improve legal work.
