Senior Analyst, Global Trade Compliance

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands; hybrid preferred. Remote candidates elsewhere in the Netherlands may be considered with travel to the Eindhoven site at least once per month. Candidates based in the United Kingdom may also be considered remotely.

Salary: €52,300–€78,500 base annual salary, plus eligible variable compensation and an 8% holiday allowance in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Support regional trade compliance programs across EMEA.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs laws, sanctions, licensing requirements, and export controls.
• Partner with Logistics, Legal, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers on compliant cross-border transactions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support compliance reviews, audits, corrective actions, and regulatory documentation.
• Investigate shipment delays and documentation discrepancies while preparing reports and metrics for management.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, operational efficiencies, and trade compliance training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Law, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience in trade compliance, customs, import/export operations, or global trade management.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA customs regulations, export controls, sanctions, licensing requirements, tariff classification, customs valuation, and origin determination.
• Experience with customs broker management and multinational, matrixed organizations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel and ERP experience.
• Fluent English communication skills; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of EU dual-use regulations, UK export controls, and sanctions compliance frameworks.
• SAP GTS experience.
• Professional trade compliance or customs certifications.
