Staff Engineer (Go)

What you will do

• Shape the technical direction and roadmap of Core Backend, including shared services, libraries, and developer tools.
• Design and evolve backend capabilities for event-driven communication, application-level encryption, and sensitive data protection.
• Build internal platforms such as the Service Catalog, API Registry, SLO platform, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Lead complex initiatives from discovery and architecture through implementation, rollout, and production validation.
• Support integrations and migrations, gather feedback from engineering teams, and improve shared systems.
• Stay hands-on with Go while building observability, performance validation, failure handling, and recovery mechanisms.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience building and operating production systems at scale.
• Strong hands-on experience with Go and distributed, high-load systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, GCP, GitLab, and microservices.
• Proven ownership of complex initiatives, including architecture and technology decisions with lasting impact.
• Strong knowledge of quality, security, observability, operational excellence, and third-party API integrations.
• Strong English, mentoring experience, and the ability to influence cross-team technical decisions.
